Management is responsible for Quality, Safety, and Environmental Protection. They oversee the quality of all services and products, ensuring that safety and environmental protection standards are upheld to the highest feasible levels.

TEDAT Construction PLC consistently monitors its operations through auditing and key performance indicators to confirm compliance with established requirements and goals, and to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Environmental Policy

TEDAT Construction PLC recognizes the importance of complying with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, codes of practice, and contractual obligations, acknowledging its responsibility to protect and enhance the environment for the benefit of its customers, employees, stakeholders, and the broader community. We commit to executing our projects in an environmentally conscious manner.

In particular, TEDAT Construction PLC pledges to:

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

TEDAT Construction PLC acknowledges that ensuring safety is crucial for the success of our organization. There is no room for compromise concerning safety; it is, and will always be, the responsibility of everyone in the company. For all employees, safety will consistently take priority over expediency in jobs.

TEDAT Construction PLC, along with its Managers and Supervisors, is fully committed to the health, safety, rehabilitation, and well-being of our employees and those present in our work environments. While they may delegate specific OHS&R duties and activities, they cannot delegate their responsibilities. Anyone supervising work at our facilities must collaborate with employees to achieve and sustain a high level of safety performance.

TEDAT Construction PLC is also devoted to the protection of our employees by upholding a ‘Duty of Care’ through an efficient OHS&R safety system and risk management strategies, as well as implementing industry-standard OHS&R procedures. All employees and associated organizations are required to join us in our shared objectives, which include:

  • To establish and uphold a safe, healthy, and productive workplace environment and procedures for everyone present at our worksites, safeguarding them from health, safety, or welfare risks arising from our activities;

  • To develop and maintain continuous improvement strategies that systematically promote proactive hazard management and valid application of our Policies and Procedures, adhering to industry OHS&R standards for safety and risk management; and

  • To ensure adherence to the OH&S Act, Associated Acts, referenced Industry Codes of Practice, and referenced Standards.

Employees are legally required to fulfill their Duty of Care concerning their health and safety, and that of their colleagues, to the best of their abilities, by following all safety guidelines, procedures, and directives, while reporting any hazards, injuries, or health issues. Misuse of safety equipment is strictly prohibited.

Quality Assurance Commitment

TEDAT Construction PLC is committed to providing exceptional service in Construction Management and technical support services. Our quality objectives are satisfied clients and continual improvement. To ensure these objectives can be achieved, we have established and will maintain a quality management system which is designed to meet the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001.

Through our training programs, all employees and associates will have gained a sound understanding of this policy, and our management system will be empowered to deliver service excellence. We will achieve our objectives through our focus, our commitment, and our training. To ensure we meet our objectives, the following outlines individual responsibilities in relation to the implementation of our Quality Assurance program;

Managing Director

As the chief executive officer, our MD holds overarching responsibility for establishing the company’s quality objectives, strategic growth planning, improving business processes, and ensuring these objectives are met through constant monitoring. The MD also conducts regular reviews of the quality management system.

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager plays a crucial role within our management team, possessing the responsibility and authority to manage the daily functioning of the quality system, including advising senior management on system performance. Additionally, the Quality Manager conducts training on quality awareness.

Management Team

Members of the management team are tasked with ensuring the company’s quality goals translate into operational effectiveness. They are held accountable for the quality outcomes associated with their departments.

Supervisors

Supervisors are responsible for implementing the quality system on a day-to-day basis. They are also responsible for conducting work skills, OH&S, and Customer Service training.

All Employees

Every individual is expected to understand their role in achieving quality outcomes and to actively apply these principles.
